Mac Model Edits

hey there forums, im basically requesting a how to on do it your self model edits for macs. i really want to be able to make mount to mounts/ char to char/ even char to creatures- but im not sure if the programs and databases are as easily available for macs as they are for pcs. ive tried to find resources- but everything either ends me up at a non working link or an outdated program. im wondering if there are any mac enthusiasts that are able to contribute to the community with a simple mac only how to of how to find/ use such tools.
or do wow mac model editors just not exist anymore?
