    Off-hand Frill -> Shield

    I have recently been trying to model edit an off-hand (Matriarch's Spawn in this case,) to a shield (Any one will do.) Unfortunately, after using Glitchy's ModelSwapper, I have found that attempting to model edit in this way rewards me with an unfortunate end.

    It feels like I'm missing some step in the process. Any ideas?

    Error cube means most of the time that it is missing the model. Upload your mpq.

    If I am not attempting to model edit, though, I can see the models in the Dressing Room. However, when I try to model edit, error cube takes the place of the model.

    • Model-Swapping (Glitchey's WDB Editing):

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...ompatible.html
    {Thread utterly relative to Glitchey's Model-Swapping software. 100% Noob-Friendly.}

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...nd-weapon.html
    {Guide revolving solely around swapping a model via Glitchey's Software - detailed walkthrough, appropriate pictures. 99% Noob-Friendly.}

    I'm presuming this is what you desire. Swapping the model. Read through the above post and download the software. From there on it's mere L33T .

    Good Luck.

    I'm not sure that is what I am looking for. For one, I said in my original post that I am using the ModelSwapper by Glitchy. Also, I am not sure if the 2nd link actually gives any usefull information. Thanks for the effort though. Any other ideas?

    • Armor / Weapon Swapping/Changing:

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...-changing.html
    {Relatively simple guide, revolving around straight-forward variables rather than old-skwl software fixing. The reader must have some previous knowledge of MyWarcraftStudio and DBC Files. Therefore, this guide is rated at 50% Noob-Friendly.}

    I'm hoping this will help; Good Luck.

    I actually did follow the guide. Easy to understand, but after completion, it gave me another error cube. :[

    edit: I actually tried both links; all conclusions led to Error Cube.

    I'll try make it tomorrow mate

    EDIT: Sorry, I tried but I end up with the same result as you do. I hexeditted the cache and then swapped the sheathposition with glitchy's, but I ended up with a blue/white square too.
