Doesn't item swaps work anymore?

Hello, I've been using item swaps since 2.4 using both the hex editor program and Glitchy's MES but today when I was going to make some changes it seems as the itemcache is no longer used... first when I opened ProgramFiles\WorldofWarcraft\Cache\ there was no WDB file inthere, only a .mpq file named survey.mpq. First to copied a WDB file from a friend of mine containing \enGB\itemcache.wdb (Along with the other wbd files). After that I started to do some changes (Season 5 -> Season 2) and some weapon changes but when I logged in nothing was changed. I've tried with both Hex editor and Glitchy's MES. I though that the file was bugged so I deleted the itemcache.wdb, logged in-game and logged out but the file didn't even remade itself like it did last time I was doing this. What has happened? Can't I change items anymore? Please help me.

May you try to delete Cache and WTB foldern in you World of Warcraft folder.

Than logg in with your char, logg out and you should have an itemcache.wdb


My ModelSwaps still work.

WTB folder? There's no folder called that.

Ok, I've tried it but the files doesn't remake themselves...btw, I'm using Vista.

Hum, may you try to run WoW "as Admin" with XP Sp2

Than run Glitchys "as Admin"..
