Help!? Undoing changes

I changed my decapitator to thunderfury, then changed it so it sheaths on my back,
after the patch, it sheaths at my side and i cant make it sheath on my back.

I want to change TF back to decap but when I remove patch-2.MPQ from my WoW file, WoW crashes on load.

patch-2.mpq is part of the new patch, your modded patch must be named something else.

Well it seems like you did not make a unique MPQ for this edit. My best guess is that you used a hex editor to edit the values of your decapitator. Look at the guides in the model editing section on how to edit your weapon looks and sheath posistion, you'll prolly be able to go through those steps backwords and undo any changes.


All else fails, delete common.mpq in your data folder and run the repair.exe that is in your WoW folder.

True, the hex editor doesn't work anymore, the file you needed to open isn't there anymore pre-patch, gg blizzard==.

Okay well. I thought it worked, but it didn't.

I cant be arsed messing around, can someone do me a TF>Decapitator fix?
