Rare mob model editing

Is it possible and whats the risk of getting banned? And have anyone done it?

I know its possible to get banned but on 1-10 scale whats the risk?

It realy depends i believe, if they havent been blaclisted i assume you could edit the rare mob to look like murmur or somthing huuge, however i beleieve that if there is any other mobs in the area that share the same mpq they will also get changed so i dont know if its that useful :P
