Well, the title says the all. Is it possible to have male -> female models working with female models (body buffing etc)?
Tauren M -> Draenei F with working edits? Just wanted to ask.

From my understanding, and from having this answered by a pro, put simply - no. Reason being is that the code that would have to be reworked is a monstrous task. I asked the same thing for a Taur -> NE F. I noticed all the clothing was reacting as though it was a male model. I have seen on other posts, (but not for myself) that changing the original model to a female will solve this for having clothing react differently, but not for actual model body buffs (eye change, hair, etc)
You can change it, but it's very long work. You need to go into the MPQ-folder with all the item models, then copy the female ones, delete the male ones and then replace them with the copied female one (who should have the same name as the male).
One of the hard things is, that the item models are numerous, and that they do not have the same name as items - instead, they are celled greendress etc. so you have to look at each model and see if it looks like the one you want to change.
