[Help]My packed MPQ's are not working

Ok i've been trying to change some item enchantments around using MWCS and DBCutil to edit the ItemVisuals.dbc file.Everything goes ok till i pack everything into an MPQ using MWCS i pack the file with the name DBFilesClient\ItemVisuals.dbc name the whole thing patch-7 and put it in my data folder,load up with WoWme the newest version for 3.9 and nothing happens am i using outdated programmes to edit and pack the files in the first place or am i doing something else wrong? any help would be greatly appreciated and rep for anyone who does ty :wave:

Use taliis instead of DBCutil.

And what is the file ending of your mpq?
.MPQ oder .mpq

Did you put the mpq file into your data folder?

And one more thing that could be wrong:
Is your edti 100% working?

He put it in the Data folder

Use Ladik´s MPQ editore to pack your files.
It supports to pack a hole folderstructure from your harddisk.

You have to name the patch like Eluo said

patch-xy.MPQ not .mpq
