[Help] Activating eyeglow & question on helmfixes

I've searched the forum and I can't find a straight answer on how to do this. Trying to get TaF->NiF working, I've figured out how to do the feet fix and change the size(I'll write a guide if one doesn't pop up soon), but I've tried everything and can't get the eyeglow to show up. What do I need to do?

Also, concerning helmfixes, what do you do to crop the hair that grows out of the hat? The helms fit but all the models still have their full hairdo with the hats on. How do I make it behave normally?
