Convert .m2 to .mdl

Hello everybody ,
well I wanted to convert the lichking.m2 to .mdl . I already used mdlvis , but I get an error "Access violation at adress 0040284A in module 'mdlvis.exe'. Read address 03157704" . So I wanted to ask , if theres another program to convert or is there someone , who can convert me this m2?

sry to bump, but same prob, i heard the new particles messed up the conversion.
BTW; could someone kindly e-email me at: rayfamily(AT)cox.net if they find a fairly reliable way to convert theese "newer" models, the reason i ask for an email, is it isnt likely ill ever visit this site, (im a wc3 player) Thx.
Also a way to remove the particles is fine... (if thats what'l get it working in mdlvis)
