how to edite shaders

how do i alter the shaders of wow or add my own. do i need to use model editing or some other program? im looking to use this to alter the looks of the graphics, say, maybe depth of field or pixel shaders etc. thanks

Well, if you're asking how to edit shaders, then you obviously know something about what you're doing, so you would obviously know what the wiki is for... If you're not up for it, then simply don't do it. Then again, giving up gets you nowhere, right?
