[Question] Spell Swapping Problem

Hi, I'm having just a tad bit of trouble with spell swapping. I am fairly experienced in the model-editing scene, but it seems when I try to swap Flash of Light -> Incinerate in Glitchy's MES and load the MPQ, the game crashes before the login screen. Is anybody else having this same problem? Thanks

If yer doing via DBC editing then be sure to have your DBC cache updated.

Else just do it manually in mywarcraft studio

-Find Flash of Light.m2 and Flash of Light.blp (if it has a blp)
-Copy the treepath and paste it in notepad
-Find incinerate.m2 and incinerate.blp (if it has a blp)
-Extract them
-Make a new MPQ
-add the incinerate.m2 and .blp if it has a blp, then rename it. For example, incinerate.m2 > flash of light.m2
-Save and close archive

Done. Run wowme and you should see the fix.

I followed your instructions and I know how to use MWS pretty decently;
however when I search for "flash" in the common.mpq I can't seem to find any Flash of Light, any help as to where the spell may be located so I can copy it and modify it?
