Request for common.mpq

just use the repair tool and you should be able to download a new un-corrupted version.
if not delete the mpq and try again.

if neither of those work back up you wtf and the custom mpqs you have (assuming you have any) and re-instal

yes you would...but you can find a 2.0.0 -> 2.0.8(or what ever current patch is) on the blizzard main page.
