help with model change

i would like to start off by saying that i am new to these forums, and if i am posting this in the wrong spot, or if this question has been answered before, i apologize.

now to the point. i found a file on here that is supposed to change a male troll character into a male undead. i downloaded the file, but when i opened the folder, i got two files called "patch-2.mpq" and "patch-3.mpq". windows, however, does not know what these folders are and therefore cannot open then.

my question is: what do i do from here? is there another program i have to download?
