chest to Akatsuki cloak

I'll admit I am a udder noob when it comes to making model edits, is there anyway to model edit a chest armor for rogues to be the akatsuki cloak from naruto? if so...can someone please make it?

This is not possible with our current tools. At least not as chest. Maybe as helm or shoulder ..

That it means that it is cool doesn't mean that it is possible...if it isn't possible then it isn't . Chest aren't M2 so you would actually edit the Model of the race itself to make it look like it's wearing a "cloak"

after reading soul eaters answer i think i know what my problem was for a armour edit i tried

seeing theres no m2 file for chest and you edit the actual model, it would require
a program extension to view the edit properly, wich in most case's a "MEF"
would be the answer but ive never goten a MEF to work for me and that alone still might not be suficient

your best bet would be to search various sites similar to mmowned
and ask if anyones heard of a
"naruto model dump" (files riped from games and put on web i assume)

and from there (if one does exist) find the file for the cloak and ask if someone can either
convert it
or tell you how to convert it so its compatable w/ WoW (or remake it using the found file as a template)

if it is possible to make either of them look like that....I no good at item swapping or model editing for items.

Your very very best bet would be to find a akatsuki cloak model, convert it to a 3DS/OBJ and import it in 3DS Max, adjusting the position and swapping it with a head. Swapping with shoulders is useless because it will be attached to it and if you move your shoulders then the cloak will move in the same direction. Head is the only thing I can think off because a head doesn't move everytime, but yeah, the thing is it won't look like as a cloak when moving but rather a solid object that is acting like a cloak.

If you got a model of a Akatsuki cloak (NOT GoogleSketchup) then I would be able to do that.

a robe perhaps, if i remember correctly there are plenty of robes that rogues can use, but then again i'm the private server kind of guy, from lvl 1 to lvl 300, but yeah, repainting a robe would be my guess, i've seen a few do it already, one friend of mine emailed a Darth Revan(kotor) version of judgement armor
