    [Pro] Question reguarding spell model editing

    Hi, obviously Spell swapping ect is quite easy, however i'm not exactly looking to just swap spells...

    I'd like to add spells, for example a frostbolt impact has the regular impact, as well as a bomb explosion (I hope you get the idea)

    Anyway, i have tried adding multiple spell m2, and blps under the same name with mywarcraft studio in the correct directory


    I remember seeing a pre-bc bloodelf rogue movie, the rogue had used model editing pretty well and had added multiple effects to skills.


    Anyway enuogh of my rant... If anyone knows anything that might be helpful... Thanks.

    May you link this movie? This is possible, but not the easy way as just nameing two files the same. You have to edit something in the DBCs or combine two models. Its easy, if you have effects that only use particles but no real geometry. Or if only one needs geometry.

    I am sorry, but I somehow can't view the video. If you can make a screenshot of the effect you mean, it'd be nice. Or just say, what you want.

    Ah okay, well it's not that i want somthing done... It's more that i'd like to learn to how do it.
    Another example would be a frostbolt impact combined with a moonfire impact. (I do not want you to do this, this was purely an example.)

    Maybe if you could tell me the columns inwhich i need to edit the spells with DBC might help, thanks for your help so far thuogh

    I don't know how I'd do it in the DBCs. Ask someone else there. But if you'd do it with the M2s combined, you'd have to take out all particle emitters in the second file and put them into the first one. Add the textures and all bones. Adjust the indices of those. Its not _that_ easy in this way.
