    Sunnyvale: Not So Sunny

OK, so I was browsing the model editing section for area changes to find a good edit for a filming location for a machinima. I found Wolfy's Sunnyvale area change/model edit and was excited about using that model edit for filming. Well, I downloaded the .MPQ for the file from the thread's link, put the .MPQ in my data folder, configured what I needed to for the MEF, started up WoW and hit F8. I log onto the server I was planning on filming on and went to Duskwood (Sunnyvale). All the mobs in the .MPQ are working as intended, but it isn't sunny like it's suppose to be. I'm actually stumped for once and can't seem to figure it out.

Does anybody know what to do or have any suggestions?

IMO all I can think of is another conflicting MPQ file which handles the sunshine/dark effect.

Well, I don't have any other MPQs in the data folder other than the ones that come with the game. You may be right, but I have no idea on how to fix the problem.

I don't know what to say, the edit was made in 2.4.2, thoroughly tested and worked then. Seen a some DBC edits not working in 2.4.3 tho, and the sky changing is via DBC-s. I can't help you much tho, I'm on a Mac atm so I can't check the MPQ's, test the edit or fix it. Sorry and thanks for trying to use it

That's fine as long as you're aware of the problem. Do you plan on fixing/updating it? It looks very nice though, and good work even though it isn't working at this current moment. =)

Like I said, I'm on a Mac atm so I don't intend to fix it any time soon. Sorry

True, however, I don't have any experience in skybox editing.
