Having a bit of trouble with Silvermoon

I'm working on a personal project that I will share that if completed would swap the red in blood elf architecture to a more pleasant blue. For use with the high elf race mod. But WoW doesn't seem to want to let me succeed. I used BLP2TGA to convert the files both ways. Extracted from the official MPQ files as well. For some reason they won't override the files from them which is odd.

I'm using patch-b.MPQ as a file name and the 2.4.3 ME fix. I'm able to view the MPQ in MWCS and I used the GlitchyMES suite thing to merge my MPQs.
