I recently posted this in Glitchy's MES thread but it was never acknowledged, essentially all i want to do is perform the Ne male to Ud male conversion if anyone can provide some basic instructions on how to go about doing it, i just recently discovered the concept of model editing and am completely unfamiliar with it:

I recently downloaded glitchys model editing application, everything was seamless up until the point where i attempted the racial conversion and i subsequently received the message:

ERROR:Unknown Error For More Information View The Debug Folder
Details:Could not find file 'C:\Program Files\Glitchy's Model Editing Suite\Data\Race\paths.txt'.

I scanned throughout this thread (there were a few references to it but no responses), searched up potential remedies on youtube and google but didn't find anything. I'd love some insight <3 Thank you very much d

Umm, do you have a folder called "C:\Program Files\Glitchy's Model Editing Suite\Data\Race\paths.txt" ?

In Glitchy's MES, there's a button Create List, and above it it'll say whether you've done it or not. You apparently haven't.

Of course of i have, its the rectangular option titled create list on the bottom left of the racial conversion box isn't it?

There's no pre requisite file i need is there? I downloaded the me fix, placed it in the wow folder, and immediately attempted the racial conversion in Glitchy's suite. Did i miss a step? What about the downloadable files listed as racial conversions in some of these threads? What's the case with those? How do they work?

Maybe you moved the Glitchy's MES folder? It worked for me, anyways I uploaded my paths.txt for you here.
Just place it into Glitchy's Model Editing Suite\Data\Race\

Mmm i attempted it again but received the same error, should i copy all the actual text into the race notepad file? I was just placing the notepd in the actual race folder. I scanned through the race folder once i had attempted the conversion again but the notepad file you sent had disappeared. Elusive d

You sure you have version 2.6? Try re-installing tho, and leave the race.txt untouched. You're missing the paths.txt file.

Yeah you bet i do, am i missing a step? Doing something in particular wrong?

Where is your MES folder? The default is C:\Program Files\Glitchy's Model Editing Suite\Data\Race\
I can't tell if you do something wrong, I simply clicked Create Path, and then did my edits. Worked perfectly. Afraid I can't help you anymore on this, sorry.

I did skip the initial setup, you're familiar with it? The small square box that pops up prior to entering the suite? Was there a mandatory step i could have missed?

It only asks you to set you WoW folder's Data path right? It might be the fault, doubt it but you should try it.

There's an option to either load or save, im not entirely sure how i should go about it, when i click the save option it states that my system doesn't support the language and when i attempt to load the wow data path with the first option it states that i should check my MPQ data path.

Okay, if your WoW directory is default then with the load button you should go to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data
If it's set simply click Save.

Mmk, that was successful, what about once i've selected the racial converter? What do i input for the MPQ save location? Do i select the create path list after i've filled inthe MPQ location?
