[Question] Animation Swap -

Hi there,

I've got a question about animation changing.
I'm trying to swap the xbow animation of my nightelf to the bow animation. (because is changed a modelchanged a xbow into a bow and now it looks kinda weird )

So I "extracted" the m2 file from the patch.mpq, strated glitchtys tool and swapped the animations.
But what should i do now? Just put the file into a mpq archive in the data folder? I'm kinda confused.

Yes, you will need to put the file into an MPQ. It will need to have the correct path within the MPQ, like

Character\NightElf\Female\NightElfFemale.m2

The patch will also need to be named correctly, like "patch-Z.MPQ", and placed in the data folder.

You will also need to start WoW using a version of WoWMe that is current for the version of WoW you are using.

Those are the basic steps, there should be guildes that fill in the details.
