    How to add mount point

Sorry if it's been asked before but I really tried to look for guides but found none of those..

I'm trying to add mount points to the normal wolf.m2 in Glitchy's MES (because the dire wolf model is awful).. I just have no idea what info to submit (as in which bones, X,Y,Z axis etc). Is there a way to get a visual example of the model's bones?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah, that's a pretty advanced change. It's more than just changing a few numbers, you'd have to actually insert an attachment point structure into the model file. If you are an experienced C++ programmer you can send me a PM and I might be able to help you a little, but by no means will I do it for you ('cause I don't know how!).

I probably wouldn't be asking this question if I was. xD I had hoped it'd be a bit easier to do with Glitchy's MES because it looks so newbie friendly. Alas! Thanks for enlightening me though, I might just get into that sort of thing.. some day.

Stick to bone 0 a majority of the time. And for coords check out the numerous guides about positioning.

Thank you Merfed for the information. Do you mean guides about positioning here on the mmowned forums or out there on the internet? I like to think I'm good with searching forums (to be honest, I hate asking questions ^^) but I swear I can't find anything on it here.

+rep for you both for shedding some light.

Oh...I was lost. I had no idea GMES had a mount point injector.

Um, WowModelViewer has a thing for showing you the bones of a model (View\Show Model Control), but of course it doesn't tell you which bone is which. And Merfed is almost surely right about wanting to stick with bone 0 anyway. Which means, I think, that it is a matter of trial and error to find a good set of X, Y, Z values. I don't think it should take all that long, so long as you use WowModelViewer to check the mount point rather than create a new MPQ and testing it in-game.
