Vanity pet, hunter pet, to Player character or npc skin

Trying to reskin my Vanity pet and my hunter pet to Epic'd out npc (ie nightelf) skins but end up with just an unskinned model (white ghost with a shape to allow for all cloaks robes etc the game allows) Been awhile since i last tried. but if i can get a hint of how to attach the skin or skins to the replaced models would appreciate it.

I was able to change my pets into things like worgan whelps spirits etc but not the more advanced player char models

Put the BLP and the M2 in the same treepath in the MPQ, make sure it has the right name. There should be an MPQ for every model unless the texture is already attached to it ( you'll see if it is in model viewer )

Seems to me like you had forgotten the BLP or that you didn't name it properly
