[Request] Dawnforged Defender modification

Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone might be interested in a small retexturing project. I was hoping to have the colors of the SSO rep shield, Dawnforged Defender, modified or retouched/etc so that they are identical to the darker, more burgandy scheme of the warrior Tier 4 set, Warbringer. This is simply something I would like done for my own tastes and use and will of course award +rep and much gratitude





I've actually attempted to do this myself but simply don't know where to begin when it comes to looking through the thousands and thousands of files in the game's MPQs.

Small update here I dug around in the files and actually managed to find the texture for this shield - messing around for about 15 minutes in Photoshop, I was able to recolor it to a reasonably similar color scheme which I am quite happy with!

I then set about making it into an MPQ file, making certain I copied the correct file path/tree/etc but simply haven't had any luck getting it to show up in game. So, I was wondering if someone more experienced with these sorts of mods could look at it for me. I've uploaded the MPQ I made (in case someone wanted to look at it it to ascertain where my error was), the texture file itself in .tga format (before I converted to BLP) and a small readme which outlines the path and filename.

Just rename it to patch-Z.MPQ
