[Help] M2 AND BLP in 3D MAX menu

    [Help] M2 AND BLP in 3D MAX

    I've searched the forums for days and would like to put some input back in as soon as I figure this out:

    I can export M2 files and if they have them the BLP's then using Glitchy's program convert M2 to OBJ and import to 3dMax.

    The problem I have is I need to be able to render the model in max with the skin....

    Any ideas "yes im a newb @ 3d max"

    Im no good at 3d max, but merfed has this post scroll a bit down!

    sorry mate already been through that code - only appears to work on GMAX which I don't have.

    I've tried serveral versions off the original authors website but it will only import the model and i have to manually add the textures!!

    I'm using 3DS MAX 9 btw

    no worrys I managed to slightly re-write the gmax script to work, although I currently have to do the blp->tga conversion myself using BLP2toTGA.exe

    I'll post a few models up in my custom flash 3d object rotator when they are rendered :P

    Heres the outcome after a heavy maxscript re-write and a flash source rewrite!
    I'm going to try and bring animation and sound to this next :P

    PS: I know I should not post links yet - but if people like what they see I will personally write a guide and host all the files required to do the above yourself - and support it!
