Is it possible to do ScM -> NeM -> TrM?

I ask this 'cause if you've ever changed an Undead to a Tauren you end up with the shrunken version.

However, if you go from a Night Elf to a Tauren, you're either the same size or pretty close.

Also, if this is possible, when I do my DBC edits for hair/hooves, would I edit the lines under Undead or Night Elf?

    TAI!

Use Glitchy's MES for the base model swap.

Then you can resize the model with Glitchy's MES (so it really doesn't matter what model you use).

It is possible to change hair style with a DBC edit. I wasn't aware that Taurens had different hoofs.

    Heh, that was fast!

Thanks, I did not know that you could now increase the size of characters.

Also, the DBC change for hooves makes it so you actually can see the hooves and not just your boot texture covering it all.

Now, just to go back and do the DBC edit for main/tail.

    Thanks again +Rep

Alright, I've resized the ScourgeMale.m2 by 2 in GMES, but nothing changes in game.

This is what I've done, so I must be doing something wrong.

    1. Extract CHARACTER\Scourge\Male\ScourgeMale.m2 to my desktop.
    2. Resize the .m2 in GMES by 2.
    3. Create a patch named patch-D.MPQ in my wow/data folder using MWS.
    4. Add the folder Character/Scourge/Male/ScourgeMale.m2
    5. Save and close archive.
    6. Add patch-D.MPQ to the wowme.CFG file

I hope that you might be able to assist me tomorrow, but for now, I'm also off to bed!

Extract from the race -> race patch that Glitchy's MES made
    Do all those resizing steps
Delete the old .m2 in the race -> race patch
Add the new .m2 in the race -> race patch

I can help you if you upload the patch. Did Tauren -> BE yesterday.

Ok, about to get a haircut and some lunch. I'll do it when I get back.

How many times bigger do you want me to make the model?

Do you also want me to try to fix the walk speed?

I would like to be the same size of a Tauren or as close as you can get.

If you could fix the walk, awesome, if not, no biggie =]

Could you estimate how many times bigger? Would you guess like 1.35x bigger? I want to see if you think thats a good starting point. I'm horrible at sizing.

Hmm, 1.3 - 1.5 might just do it.

    That's the current size difference.

    Here you go: patch-A.zip

Here is the updated .m2: scourgemale.zip

It looks like you have already fixed some textures. The textures in the file you gave me were messed up. His mane and feet were white. I think there is a guide on fixing that. Above is the updated m2 file. The tauren is now a good size with fixed walking speed.

Take the updated .m2. Delete the .m2 in the patch that you have the updated texture files in. Add the file to the updated patch under the same treepath as the old .m2.
