    [Help] WoWMe - Injection Failed.

I've been searching the forums for help in this matter but seem to have hit a brick wall. I've never done any model editing so I can't say that it's worked in the past.

I have downloaded the latest version of WoWme, inserted the files in the WoW root directory and I’ve renamed my .cfg file with the .MPQ in my data file, however when I try to execute the wowme.exe it gives me an error saying "Injection Failed!" I have seen on other posts with the same error but haven't found a definite solution to this error. If anyone has come across this and could be of help or can point to another post where I can find an answer it would be greatly appreciated.

Tell me if it works for you. Its easier, there is no .cfg file.

Well it seems to launch the program and read the .MPQ. However now I’m getting the following error:

    ERROR #131 (ox8510083) File Corrupt
    Program: C:\Program File\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
    File: character\nightelf\male\nightelfmale.m2

I've tried the Race Changer from Glitchys Model Editing Suite and I’ve also tried with My Warcraft Studio. Since those are the easiest to understand/operate. Running out of options don’t know what else to do. Haha.

How do you launch the program?

Do you double click on the Model Edit Fix and then click launch?

Is the Model Edit Fix in your wow root folder, a.k.a. the one with wow.exe?

M.E.F. is in the WoW parent directory.

I execute the Fix, Launch menu comes up and I hit Launch.

I'm actually not quite sure what the problem is in this situation. Glitchy's MES automatically capitalizes the .MPQ and other things like that. Do you have it in the format of patch-#.MPQ where # is any letter a-z or any number 3-9?

Finally, you could try remaking it again or trying a different race swap. Glitchy's MES might be messing up although I think it handles race swaps pretty well usually. Do you have the most up to date version?

Yes everything is in the Patch-# format. All programs are up-to-date, I’m not sure why its not working. I’ve actually looked for other already made .MPQ files but still get the same corrupt file message. Problems after problems, maybe if I keep tinkering with it, it will magically start working, lol. I can only wish.

Try this, UD male -> Skeleton. I made it earlier, haven't tested it, but someone gave confirmation that it worked. Note that the skeleton may appear white on the character selection screen, log in all the way: patch-s.zip

Success! Not on my original model change but I managed to make my druids Cat form look like the ZA mount. Don’t know why the character changes aren’t working =(.

That is strange. I have no idea why race edits don't work for you. Do you use 2.4.1?
