[Help] Nothing works

Hi, i tried different Goldshire to Karazhan edits but it crashes or it doesnt change anything,and i used modeledit,any idea?

Well it shouldn't crash.

Did you make the edit yourself?

Is it an older edit?

no,its a newer one it found it somewhere,but it still doesnt work,strange.

Ok, well here are a few suggestions:

1) make sure that its in the format patch-#.MPQ, where # can be any letter a-z and any number 3-9

2) make sure that the p in patch is not capitalized and that the .MPQ is capitalized

3) make sure that the patch ins in your data folder and that the model edit fix is in the wow root folder (same folder as wow.exe)

4) try another patch and see if that works, sometimes patches are broken, make sure that you have the latest MEF

Sorry if some of these are obvious, but those are the issues most people seem to have.
