    how to shrink using glitchy's

So I tried to figuer this out on my own, but I seem to fail every time I try

can someone please explain to me how this is done in a step by step guide, or even point me to a thread that already has a guide for this.

any help would be fantastic thanks )

Advanced Apps -> M2 tools -> Model Resizer
    Load your m2
Put how many times you want to shrink or enlarge it by and click shrink/enlarge
Close Glitchy's MES, it is now done

Worked perfectly for me in 2.3, does not work at all for me in 2.4.

I have tried re-creating the MPQ file, using various scaling options (including attempts to increase size as well), all with no effect.

-when shrinking don't use -, just do 100 and hit shrink
-try to get an update for Glitchy's MES
-try to re-extract the .m2 and don't forget to put the modded .m2 back

It works fine for me, hopefully you can figure out what the problem is.

By "put it back" you just mean create a patch-#.MPQ file and put that in Data, correct?

I get a little confused since I do a tauren to NE model swap and need the size thing. Should I do the model swap, then extract the taurenfemale.mp2 (which is really nightelffemale.mp2 at that point), then resize, then....?

It seemed quite easy when I did it in 2.3, perhaps less beer would be a good idea.

Extract and then rename. If you are getting an error extracting try getting the latest version of My Warcraft Studio and if you have Vista get My Warcraft Studio with Vista fix.

Uh... I don't get it either hehe. I am trying to resize my Ice Lance to a bit smaller, so I opened the common.MPQ in MWS, export/extract the Ice_Lance_Missle.m2 (to my desktop for example). Opened it in Glitchy MES (latest version) then clicked "Shrink Model" and then it says "Done, you can now close"

And then what...........? Re-export the editted .m2 into the common.MPQ again? And how am I supposed to do that? :- P I'm really lost, hehe.

I figured out what I was doing wrong, hopefully this helps the original poster as well.

I'm using a model swap to make my female tauren druid look like a female night elf. I extracted the taurenfemale.mp2 file from my ME patch, but when I saved it I did so as it's own patch. (So I had patch-2.MPQ for the model swap, and patch-3.MPQ for the size). That's wrong.

    Instead do this:

    1) Extract the file you need to resize
    2) Resize as needed using Glitchy's MES (tauren to NE is a 1.25 shrink, btw)
    3) Edit the ME patch file using MWS
    4) Replace the taurenfemale.mp2 that is in there with the one you have resized
    5) Close it up, and enjoy the new size

If you're not using a model swap and it still isn't working, then I'm stumped.
