    Plain English Help

    Ok, i have made my MPQ and named it Patch-5 and put it in the WoW data folder

    I know i need a program to launch with wow, but everytime i do it, it never works..nothing changes...I need a step by step guide in plain english and download links :/

    1) read my PM
    2) extract to C:\program files\world of warcraft
    3) open up the CFG file with note pad
    4) type in patch-5.mpq
    6) save
    7) open wow using the thing I sent ya
    press F8
    9) log in
    10) enjoy

    One question though

    Now that i did this, the Model change i put into the DATA folder has to be named patch-5.mpq correct?

    did you use glitchys model edit?

    if so

    its already names it for you

    if not, i would suggest manually doing it

    but its .MPQ

    not .mpq

    need the caps

    but the model isnt skinned :/ hahaha

    is the patch n the date folder named

    patch-(whatever u put).MPQ?

    and in the CFG folder did you put patch-(whatever u put).mpq or .MPQ (i dont think it matters in there, but it might)

    Yes I did all that correct and they have the same patch number, Which gives me a Model which is White with no skin.

    Im not quite sure how to Skin the model and put it into the patch :/

    Add the skin (.blp) the same way you added the .m2. You don't need a path.

    ok this is what im trying to do:

    Im trying to turn a Gnome into a Worgen, which i have did, But only replaced the model, not the skin. So To replace the skin to i replace the Gnome skin? or the worgen? Im so confused

    I was surprised I was able to help with that program haha

    Do you know where to find this skin?

    I looked at the tutorials but they are for the EB version of wow and i have the US so i dont know how to locate the Skin files since the setups are totally diffrent
