What a shit !

I made a patch to go to GM Island too. I spent hours to make it. I browsed over WoWDev.org to learn to deal with .adt, .wdt files, MCNK chunks and so on. I also made a program to clone a map tile (Map_xx_xx.adt) to another, changing chunks position and raise/lower terrain height. I used this program to make a way to GM Island.

I had lot of satisfaction when I finally reached the island with a lvl1 druid, when I pwned an AFK GM and when I invited friends to make a little raid to the island, all this using MY OWN patch made with by MY OWN program and not with a leaked software frop NoggAholic (NoggIt).

Going to GM Island is an advanced terrain editing job that requires knowledge and work. Now, even the dumbest noob can do it by downloading your patch. Look at the thread : most of the people replying are lamers who aren't even able to deal with fatigue or unzip a file !

dunno y but when i put this patch in the data folder when i star wow and go to teldrasil or start a new nightelf my wow crashes :S

I can't seem to find GM island.. I'v tried both files.. The "advanced" file I can see a patch in the start area, but not on the basic patch... The video has cut that part off..

Thank you DK for ruining WoW editors' job. Now we may expect another nerf from Blizzard or the deletion of the Island, like they did to the TaxiPathNode.dbc edit after a ****ing pretentious dumbass had released a patch with a badly modified zepplin path (you get disconnected when you get off a ship/zep whose path has been modified).

The path is simple, just stick to the left side, when you reach a jump, go north. Keep that up until you reach the island. Also remember that you can't manage to run to the island without any speed boost, you will die a bit before if you run (100%) - fatigue.

edit made it fine w.o speed hacks or CE just healed through it

I got there without ANY speed hacks, just normal running speed. I suggested making a priest character in order to heal yourself when you get fatigue, which you WILL get when you get close enough. =P

Let me remind you old friend, that at one point you didnt know crap about model editing. You were on this site why? Because Nogg-aholic wouldnt release crap to you and presumably because they wouldn't let you on their site. Lets face it when the ME section opened up here 99% of people were here for that reason. Now maybe you learned it all on your own, or maybe had some good graces with people that liked to show you little odds and ends and you applied it a bit further, to those points I can only speculate. However:

I will be VERY clear here; Your edits that you release affect EVERYONE involved in this community. When things that could potentially ruin a hobby, life, job, whatever the blank may be are released at your hands not only should you feel a personal responsability to your friends on this site, but to people in general. I used to respect you for all that you had done on this website, you helped make it grow along side fault gtr mod and a few others, but your carefree im so much better than everyone else attitude has cost you imho all the good that you did here.

So while you certainly can release what you want to release. It does really show how much you care about your friends here, all types of people involved in the model editing community, and specifically how you could undo so much of the work that you put into this site.

And to think, all for a little tag next to your online handle saying you have some rep.:confused:

eh, 4 GMs on the island with me right now 2 70 priest 1 shadow, 60 mage, and 70 warrior but they are all standing in their spawn area just chillin no fun cus they arent doing anything.
