    [Presentation] Warcraft Project

    Hello,

As I wrote in The Reznik Era topic, I started doing a new project. So I decided to create a topic here for this project. There will be a new continent, though not as big as other continents, but it will be big enough. They will not fly mounts here, but will climb all the rocks, mountains, etc. Transitions from one zone to another will be much smoother, so not like Blizzard - desert and suddenly the jungle. I would like create map customized for world pvp, Blizzard definitely buried world pvp in the Cataclysm.

    Some facts about the project

    -Will for WoW 3.3.5a
-Will be created on the map QA_DVD
-It will not modify the old world, if possible
-It will not be compatible with The Reznik Era

The transition between zones does not look like that smooth in the first images. Also some in some screenshots the ground looks a way too flat.

Anyways, you have my support for this project as it looks pretty damn good already.
    Keep it going, +rep

God I wish I didn't have to go through so much shit to get world building to work. I wish someone would leak the in-house World Editing program cause there's so much I would make.
(Seeing the stuff you post really makes me want to world build but everytime I try I find it to be a bitch to get programs working.

It's looking pretty good I must admit.

Though, if I may give a tip. Try adding more detail to your mountain texturing, looking at the 2d view in your first post, most patches of mountain texturing exceed the size of a chunk, this gives a pretty dull view as it starts looking the same on a lot of points. Again, this is my opinion and meant as positive feedback.

Take a look at this texturing for example: htt p:// imagr. eu/up/4f1e990c8e81c3_BI_2D.png (htt p:// imagr. eu/up/4f1e990c8e81c3_BI_2D.png with ADT and chunk lines).
it has got a look more variation in mountain texturing, it can give your build a very refreshing look.

This is how it turned out: htt p:// imagr. eu/up/4f1d9000d5c155_BI_Start2.png
I admit it's not the best example I have (And it's only in Noggit), but it's the only one I can acces on this computer.

I think if you would start texturing your mountains like this, it would improve your worldbuild a lot!

Though, besides the mountains I have very little to comment on, it's good . (Oh, and remove the spaces in the URL, can't post more than like 1 in a post yet.)
