Custom Log in Screen 3.3.5

I am having a problem. I have used the technique were you change a picture to 1024x1024, convert it to png, convert it to blp, rename it to WotLK_Login_Citadel01, and drop it into Interface/GLUES/MODELS/UI_MAINMENU/Northrend and Interface/GLUES/MODELS/UI_MainMenu_Northrend.

The problem is that when I start wow, the custom log in screen I just added starts in the middle of the screen and ends off screen (Cut in half). I also attempted to change the "Easternkingdoms" loading screen but I got the same effect. What am I doing wrong? I use the WOW BLP Converter and a MPQ editor to add them. I even went as far as to download a created patch file (Burning crusade log in screen) and tweak that with my picture but I got the same affect. Please leave me suggestions. Contrary to popular belief, there is NO GUIDE that deals with 3.3.5 (which is what I play on) Please help me solve this problem. 8-)

If you convert your edited BLP back to PNG/BMP/Whatever, is it still cut in half or does it look alright then? If it looks good as a PNG then I am thinking it might get corrupted/weird when you convert it to BLP.

Good idea Fadelol....I tryed it - When I try to revert it back to a png, I get an error message. That is weird. I also tried another method (Ashell) but I cant get the unsig file to open on my computer, something to do with windows 7 settings. Im starting to think that I am going to give up. Almost 2 weeks of trying to modify WOW to my liking and I just cant find a workable way. If ANYONE out there can make a log in screen successfully, this is what I want as my background. PLEASE make it into a Patch.mpq file so I can use it. Might be a small donation to the person who helps me out ;-) Attachment 5140Attachment 5141

I'd say it sounds as if it doesn't get converted properly then. Upload it to imgur.com or similar and I'll give it a go if you'd like.

MonkeyJunkie, wtf???

OnTopic: I'd suggest you'd probably try and download and use another BLP converter instead. It seems very much that the one you use is buggy or something.
