    [World Build][WIP] Elwynn Forest

    Hey guys!

I have been meaning to give the Alliance a story in our little game and so I did. Their story is a bit more dramatic than the Horde one with all the fighting of the Legion. The Alliance storyline is based on Deathwing's return ( Our story takes place after Cataclysm meaning Deathwing is reborn and undead.) In that, Deathwing was ticked so he killed Varian, leaving Varian's son in charge of Stormwind. With that, Deathwing is slowly burning every area in Elwynn. Before he can even get outside the gates of Northshire, the other dragon flights confront him. This is what Deathwing has left when he went to Northshire.

Maybe a little tweaking of the fire on the tower in the third picture, but other than that, it looks really nice, Good job!

Well i've been off to modding other games, and I return to this.. Now I don't know if it's just me who has forgotten the way that wow is built together.. but damn this is the most messy thing i've ever seen.. I'm sorry it's not working.. textures do not fit to the objects at all.. it's like.. the ground was textures for like.. something, and then the objects were spawned for something else.. XD

Its a burning place what do you expect??? This is suppose to be a messy edit with lots of burning fences, scaffolds and tents. Not some nice looking Obsidian Sanctum with a small lava trail and a dragon. This is suppose to be destructive. The idea isn't to make the humans beg for mercy as deathwing just set their land on fire; but he literary turned it into a wasteland with cracked grounds, dragons flying overhead; killing the last humans and a mere fight to survive. We want the player to feel like Deathwing is in Full control. Thats why the main camp is on fire. No buildings are standing, the ground has a sub texture layer of a cracked lava ground and we even made the camp so small that we forced the trainers into fights. This makes an excellent feel of battle.

Maybe you need to re-earn your Expert Model Editing tag again, cause you know nothing of edits anymore.

Haha! yea right ^^ but i think that you can remove the scaffolds in the middle of the camp, and remove the fire from the stone made guard tower. last i check stones do not burn.

This comment was totally unnecessary and you received a warning for it. Please do not start fights and keep on topic!

BanzBoyz77 was given a warning as well: If you have something to say about the ME-Expert group, send a PM to
a staff member responsible for the group (in this case me). In-topic posts like "Maybe you need to re-earn your Expert Model
Editing tag again, cause you know nothing of edits anymore." are most likely done in a purpose of flaming/insulting more than
in the spirit of real and helping feedback.

What comes to the edit, I think this looks really similar to the theme Blizzard is nowadays going for with their new "fiery" zones.
The ground indeed looks a little bare with the little amount of doodads it's holding. Try using some bigger size NoDXTs
(little ground doodads) that fit to the theme, they should make the tilesets look a little less repetitive.

and remove the fire from the stone made guard tower. last i check stones do not burn.
I wouldn't go for this change as the tower in fire looks actually pretty nice. Perhaps he could try adding some m2s, like
wooden boxes and tables, to the tower to have something the fire could, realistically, burn on. (The tower inside actually
has wooden stairs, so it's fine to have fire on the top of the tower as seen on the picture). If you keep the tower burning
I would suggest you to use the Stratholme burned tile textures for it, they match really nicely with the fiery theme.

(As an offtopic note: I think this would look pretty nice with my Corrupted Stormwind area change, good job +Rep)
