Hello Mmownage Maniacs
Today I have the posting of an epic topic. So for organization reasons I split the written part into sections for easier finding of information and better understanding.
Planning
-------------
We are the server that creates places that take effect after Cataclysm. Sort of like ahead of time, into the future of World of Warcraft. So it only makes sense to make areas from Cataclysm, and then change them from there. Take note we did not copy Cataclysm since we are making our game how we think World of Warcraft: Cataclysm should have turned out.
To plans this edit for only one of the major zone changes, we needed a drawn map of the rough sketch of where the zones would be and what their names were. We came up with the map and changed a few names around since the release forum of this map on our website. The color codes are:
Purple: Forsaken Controlled
Red: Scarlet Controlled
Gray: Neutral Controlled
I just drew this to give me a small hint of what Tirisfal should be like when it's all finished. Many changes were made since this drawing

Creating A Story
--------------------
For many, the Forsaken are a mirror opposite of the Scourge. As said at Blizzcon for Wrath of the Lich King, that changed as the Forsaken used more plagues and began creating monsters. We took that idea of Blizzard and expanded it to evolve the Forsaken, not only into dead humans; but into abominations, Nerubians, Val' Kyr and many other monsters seen along side the Scourge. In short, we wanted the Forsaken to literary become the new Scourge.
The Scarlet Crusaders, on the other hand, are on the mere edge of survival. Their defenses in the Scarlet Monestary have been crumbled. Their offensive attacks on the Forsaken from Scarlet Stand, ruined just like the hold itself. Their last surviving camp lies along side Galeran's Estate ( Scarlet Fields, part of King's Hold on map) at King's Hold. There, they sailed from Deadman Coast and sailed south into the Silverpine Forest, where they befriended the Gilneas villagers. Now, with the aid of the Alliance, the Scarlet Crusaders are "cleansing" the land formally owned by the Capital city: Lordaeron.

Death's Field: Forsaken Controlled~ A farm land formally known as Deathknell, this zone is created to supply the Forsaken with Plagues and enormous amounts of slime to create their monsters.

King's Hold: Scarlet Controlled ~ This zone is established as the only remaining non destroyed Scarlet controlled zone. This zone is home to the start of the quest: Betrayal Comes With Trust.

Deadman Coast: Neutral Controlled ~ A coast known for its misty seas. It makes for hard steering of ships through it's rocky waters.

Scarlet Stand: Scarlet/ Neutral Controlled~ This zone is a demolished previously Scarlet Controlled zone. A sub camp: Scarlet's Cries, was developed in Scarlet Stand to ensure no survivors escape.( Scarlet Hold on Map)

Lordaeron: Forsaken Controlled ~ A portal connects the Quel' Thalas High Elves and Forsaken with mystic powers. The Forsaken, now fortified the enterance into Undercity with a personal touch.

I'm keeping this thread updated as much as I can. Had to reinstall Wow or I'd have pics of the done but need picture zones already. Thanks and note, our Tirisfal is already invisioned, changed will come but the changes that will not take place are:
Recoloring of Scaffolds
Changing of Textures ( Texturing with existing textures in ADT will occur, but we are not reskinning or replacing any buildings or textures)
Or change of Light values in the Zone
If your comments are related to any of the changes not taking place, don't bother posting the comments as we are changing the whole world, not just this zone and Eluo's copying of M2s and Wmos doesn't work for us. We have to work with what we have. Untill then, no reskinning of any m2s or wmos.
As for the ground, we are keeping the old Tirisfal feel, not chaning it to darker or lighter themes.
