It's very dule in looks and the blue buildings you used don't fit. Try these buildings instead World\Wmo\Azeroth\Buildings\ Duskwood_(Building Name), Any buildings there with that treepath beginning would look really nice in your city. They are like the forsaken abandoned human buildings.
I was actually planning on making the rooftops black or greyish

What makes it gilnean style?
The textures I used and, I have some gilnean models I'm going to add.. those are just the slums (which I'm going to make look more... slummy)
For a first time edit, its... Well, acceptable (no offence). But you could work a bit more with your texturing, and also make the mountains a bit better and... Perhaps, add some more doodads, as small crates and barrels and stuff x)

Ok I will list what I see needs to be worked on, take this as an advice and not as offense (: Because I love you for daring entering this section, the <almost> most harsh section on MMOwned.
However here is the list:
- Foliage, I.E Detail Doodads, barrels, small rocks, stones, maybe wrecked chairs, bushes, signs, fences & much more doodads like that.
- The road was near-perfect so keep the road like that, maybe some variation rather than a straight line would be the dot over the i.
- The texturing elsewhere was rather.. Strange, I wanna say strange because, it looks like you tried to paint it like we paint in engines like Unity. But this is wow, so don't forget that it's a more painterly look that you have to get. More like you're painting a paint, not a high-reso ultra-graphic game, because nomatter how much you try, it would never work within this game.
However, good job, keep it up and we might see you in blue very soon!
I like your way to crit Madame Grip, Heres my version of what needs improvement
- Use Northrend Human buildings instead for a Gilneas look
- Agreed with Madame Grip, needs more doodads
- Texturing needs to differ in textures, you have 4 textures you can use in a chunk, use up your texture to its restrictions
- Plan what each building is ex: You can use the same building but one could be surrounded by barrels and crates to represent a bar and the other one could have a table with fish on it and that could be where the people learn fishing
- Every place as some trees and bushes, this place has non.
Thats it for me. Using all crit you get you can create a true +rep worthy build

ahh ty guys, I'll work on adding more doodads and foliage. As for the "mountains" none of them are done in these pictures :P don't worry that big chunk of land in the back is not how I'm going to put it out lol
also.. someone mentioned the buildings well.. I found some gilneas houses :P so yeah I will use those

The building you have representing the Gilneas Mansion is a Northrend Human building, prob the closest resemblance to Gilneas style buildings

If you want I'll make a small gilneas looking town for you to go off of for ideas. Always helps to have visuals instead of words.

Check around this forum often. I'm building my version of Gilneas now. I started that project a while ago but seeing this thread made me want to start building it again ( If my noggit doesn't close on me every 20 secs like it does in Echo Isles)
