    Still speechless, you approach the enormous axe, realizing all stories about it were true.

    The blade is buried by layers of rock and magma and doesn't seem particularly sharp. Like ember the rock glows, although it seems eternal, never melting. The blade, as you know from the stories, is in touch with the elemental plane of fire itself. The very edge is an open rift to the fiery realms, and endless flames come from it, wave after wave.

    You look for the handle but it intimidates you at first as you can clearly see magma dripping all over it.

    Indeed, the weapon is there not to tame, but to be tamed. It's meant to be used only by those with a deep affinity with the fire, crafted for dark purposes you cannot conceive. For a mortal, your power would have to be big enough to feel not more than a simple warmth from it.

    With a deep breath, you hold the axe firmly. The dark iron makes a sharp, metallic screech as you take it from the stand. You walk back, unworried.

    Feels warm.

    ^you must have done something wrong while changing the filenames,
    same thing happened to me the first time >_<

    ect i change my frost giant's cleavers into this axe (wep name for it is Axe_1H_IcecrownRaid_D_01)
    the 2 filenames should be like this:

    Axe_1H_IcecrownRaid_D_01.m2
    and
    Axe_1h_IcecrownRaid_D_0100.skin

    so for the first file you need to add .m2 after the wep name,
    and in the second file u need to add 00.skin like this:

    Axe_1h_IcecrownRaid_D_01 .m2
    and
    Axe_1h_IcecrownRaid_D_01 00.skin

    i hope this helps you solve your problem, it looks like that because you forgot the two 0 in 00.skin

    I recently started using Magmadeep for my own boring weapon purposes, and I got this crazy idea to try and make it cover up my shield so I could be a dual wielding Prot Pally. As I opened the mpq in my MPQ editor, I noticed the initial files are in a folder called Weapon, and I thought this may hinder my purposes, as usually weapon and shield skins aren't kept in the same place. Basically, what I'm asking is, can this particular unedited MPQ be used to replace a shield model, or is it limited to weapon? And if it is limited to weapon, is there a way to make it replace shield models?

    gloomlight^ i think thats possible, i modified bloomfalls shield to weapons so i dual wielded shields on my DK =P

    try to change where it says weapon to shield, and do the normal progress

    That's the thing though, I 'unno how to do it. I'm a total nub when it comes to doing model edits in any way, I'm just good at using them.

    the way i did it was doing it like this:
    main hand
    patch-M.MPQ ->ITEM ->ObjectComponents ->Weapon -> "the item ur changing from" .m2 and 00.skin ect
    offhand/shield
    patch-S.MPQ ->ITEM ->ObjectComponents ->Shield-> "the item ur changing from" .m2 and 00.skin ect

    but since your offhand will count as a shield, it wont be placed in your hand, but kinda on the outside of your hand just like shields r placed, and it also wont attack with auto attack ofc ect

    so for patch M that contains ur MH u want to put in the file name of your weapon (from wow model viewer)
    and in patch S that contains the shield u want to put in the file name of your shield(from wow model viewer)

    Wow.... that looks awesome!

    But there is one thing, the hold position of the weapon is to too far above, in my eyes.
    It would be better if you can make the hold position further down, or you try to make the hilt more longer abouth the hold position.

    Awesome model mate, amazing work.
    Am using this now for my dual-wielding warrior (boa weapons -> magmadeep).

    Just one "suggestion". Move the "handgrip" location a bit down the handle. As of right now, when holding this weapon you hold it very close to the blade, which would make it pretty hard to be combat-effective. Move it closer to the end of the handle in my opinion

    this axe is insane the only thing that needs a little editing is that it is held a little to close to the blade it should be held much lower on the handle
