[MapSwap] Ahn'Qiraj -> Kalidar

Howdy,

So, as my first attempt at this kind of thing, I replaced the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj with Kalidar, an old, unused zone from the WoW Alpha. It's basically three different sub-zones, which each, in my opinion, appear to be prototype versions of the battlegrounds that shipped with WoW. (AB, AV, WSG)

This isn't intended to be used in retail, of course, but it can provide some fun exploration or serve as a custom zone in a private server.

I DID NOT RETRIEVE THESE MAPS MYSELF. THEY WERE EXTRACTED BY MoD, I SIMPLY DOWNLOADED THEM FROM THIS THREAD AND THEN SWAPPED THE .ADTs AROUND A BIT.

Just put it in your "World of Warcraft/Data" folder to install.

".worldport 509 800 10 300", should port you inside the zone.

Also, the red fog visible in the pictures is not native to the zone, I just happened to port in there from a zone with red fog.

Kalidar is awesome
Simple to switch instance maybe, but then again finding the right to fit and
working around it with cryect tool and in this case finding actual adts of the map.

Well i'm glad someone else found 'a use' with this map.

You might want to disable 'spectral lightning' in your graphical options to get rid of the green textures.

Indeed, and it was a map with it own instance ID back in the first builds of alpha, mostly empty & undetailed. Then Blizzard most likely changed their mind and finally used it as a test map for incoming battlegrounds (one is the prefab of AV). Because of this, the *.ADTs were still named Kalidar_xx_yy.adt; which is why I kept it like this in my release thread.

Oh and btw, I also have the 'Plains Of Snow' map -the very first BG prefab- compatible with old/current wow clients, I'll upload it upon request.
