ok heres a guide how to model edit
step 1: reload WoW but dont let it patch AT ALL
step2: use MyWarcraftStudio 1.8 to open up your expansion file and extract the desired look folder (as in for what i did was make bear form into an etheral so in this case extract etheral) and put it in a folder on the desktop named CREATURE
step3: go into the data folder of the unpatched WoW and find the name of the model and texture you want to change and write them in notepad
Step4 (only use this if you are doing a model edit that requires a CREATURE and Creature folder seperatly): make a Creatures folder on desktop and extract the desired file (if it was the bearform texture in the Creature folder in the old files then put it there and so on) and do the same with the other part of the model edit
Step5: go to my warcraft studio and make an MPQ archive named Patch-3.MPQ
Step6: this is for bearform to etheral example = in Creatures folder put a file named DruidBear and then inside put the etheral texture and in CREATURE make a folder named DruidBear and put the etheral model in it
step7: Rename them to their proper names that you got from your unpatched wow folder
step8: click add file to archive and make sure you are adding them to patch-3.MPQ then choose the texture or model file and make sure that their path names look like this in the white box before hitting ok CREATURE/DruidBear/DruidBear.m2 or Creature/DruidBear/DruidBearSkin.blp
if you notice there is no S in the Creature file name even though the folder is named Creatures
then after this hit save and start up WoW and it should work
