    Please don't flame other members unneccessarily, if you have something to say, please do it in a constructive manner.

    Besides, whether he 'showed off' or not Blizzard would still patch this, they keep an eye on these sites and when stuff like this comes out they fix it, regardless of whether people are 'showing off' or not.

    Sorry got an idea... would you be able to change the model for things like rich thorium vein to somethign huge? And also woudl you be able to mine it from further away because of this? thx in advance!
    Yes you can change the models of other items. I do believe it was covered in antoher thread how to do so. The only benefit of it is that it increases the distance at which you can see certain items (what ever you change) or especially for herbs, makes spotting them a lot easier.

    As for picking/mining from further distances, no it's still the default distance. And if you set somthing like a vein to a large enough object, there's a good chance you might not even be able to mine it all due to the fact that you can't get close enough to be in range to mine it.

    hmm..so far so good, but how would it be if u edit some serious things..
    like the locked door from sholomance.. (just delete it,and u could move on,without unlock it)
    atm i try to figure out ,some other spots,where its useful,like wallparts and other shortcuts,to make farming n such more usefull.. ideas?

    Listen guys, i showed off and nothing bad happened. Blizzard didn't do anything, the people I showed didn't do anything, so don't blame things on me if things go bad for you. Nothing bad happened to us, nothing will. As long as you have the noobs like my server lol.

    Besides I only showed it to my friends and guildies.

    iam still trying "some things" with mws. atm such stuff like,replacing the locked doors from DM,with the "open door"
    same as opened gate for strat -backdoor. n sholo locked door.
    but its hard to find the right files (wmo)
    not sure if its better to make a new thread,since it isnt on topic exactly,but its cheating..(for sure) and ..not real a cheat,since its still in work,but could need some help there.(takes hours to figure out the right files.

    GUYS!! PROVEN FACT!! THE FIRES STACK!! I went to the top of Booty Bay and started making fires on top of eachother. I fell off by accident and took me 2 minutes to land. I took a screenshot for you guys of how high I was.

    ...By the way, how exactly do I put in my screenshots?

    goto www.imageshack.us and host it there. then post the link it gives you on the forums.
    EDIT: after further researching this on my acc, i have found that these do not in fact stack.

    Thats Bull F'in ****za...They dont stay like that, they stack according to how high the ground is underneath where you stand so if you make one on flat land and then go up the stairs and make another still on the same level plain as the first spawned one, it will not go any higher. Enough said, and confirmed. That was the only Disapointment in this exploit, but you can get to plenty already with the way it works, just got to be creative.

    After messing around with this exploit for a bit, I managed to get into SC strath uninstanced =D what my video doesnt show is that if you jump into one of those "endless holes" that you usually see in an uninstanced instance, you land and can continue to explore what is under stratholme(alot of flat land)

    OK guys, use it while it lasts. AFAIK blizzard is introducing MPQ hashchecks so modelediting won't be possible after the 1.11(at least till we figure out how to change it).

    simple.
    if they check for raw datafiles,insteed of mpq.u just re-asample a mpq
    if this mpq,doesnt have the same hash n size value,just use some simple tools,to edit the size,and the hash would also be the same.
    there is no way to remove it,..well one,but that they cant do,means rewrite the client,and let him load the whole needed data from the server,insteed clientfiles,but that ..wont work,since too much loadingtime n such.

    As soon as blizzard implement a check it will be cracked, guaranteed. Hashchecks etc are fairly easy to bypass.

    Manu, a file (eg the MPQ) is not hashed based on its size, its hash is based on the data inside the file. If I have two files exactly 1024Kb in size, but both with different data. Eg one's a document and one's an application, they will have DIFFERENT hashes.
