So i got another project working on at teh moment...this one is much easier because the camera parameters are not as complex as the particle parameters.
The plan is to create a login screen with karazhan&around on it.
My first idea was to use 3d Ripper DX to "steel" the scene from ingame.
After capturing i noticed that there were alot of textures missing and that the scene already had ~230 textures

So i knew that this was going to fail. So I started out a little experiment.
I made a new plane in 3ds max and transformed it a bit. then i added a skybox and one little peace of grass.
I exported that and this screen is in modelviewer:
the grass looks so ****ed up because this is zoomed out ALOT.
Next things to do:
Get the final scene,tweak it,make it work ingame. ^^
