Well with WotLK everything is completely different. It's not as simple as changing a few things and you get a BC login. I don't think you'll ever get a BC login screen to work with WotLK client. I did mess around and throw in some random textures to just see what exactly you could change. Seems there's some potential for something different, but it would probably take awhile for me to figure it out :P

Here's just a proof of concept pic I took, just to show you can change some stuff at least

ok. sounds after hard work! ive tried the login screen of notirius, but with 3.0.9 it´snot working. im a noob in such things xD...one question: do you can mod the classic login screen? i mean the first login screen at that time?

This thread, and the file in the first post, is for pre-wotlk. It's not gonna work with wotlk client. Not sure what you mean mod the classic login screen. Unless you mean take the file he uploaded, and convert it to wotlk... that's what I was gonna do but in trying that I found it's completely different. It's basically a 3d scene created from different textures/models. You can change the textures easily but you can't make it into a classic login screen, because the way everything is organized, and put into that 3d scene. But you could change the login screen drastically by changing the textures.

I guess you could attempt to make a 2d'ish dark portal but it's not gonna look like the old one.

okay...i understand, but why its so hard with the textures/models? have you any direction? i will try to make the login screen of notirius run at 3.0.9^^...if you have a direction xD
