Wow, im not a specialist in model editing, but bringing 2.3 mounts in 2.2 live surprises me. Gonna try the engineering mount right now, but not long - i want to enjoy it when 2.3 comes live ;D

I've DLed it several times, putting it in the WoW/Data folder and naming it several times, when I do name it "patch-(whatever).mpq" it immediately came up with a WoW error saying "DBFilesClient\CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc" has encountered an error. What did I do wrong? (Running Vista)

All the DBC modifications needs the modeleditfix , or your game gonna crash , with a " corruption error " .

Name it patch-3.mpq and put that in your Data folder . And let's go .

Just wondering, Could you release a copy for epic mounts only? Or post how it can be changed to epic mounts only affected.
(this is in reference to the mechanstrider -> bear mount, did not try the flying ones.)

I got the same Problem. and I guess I found out why. You can't have bear mount and ingi flying mount simultanously with 2 different mpq files. they need to be put together in one .mpq file. The mpq file with the lowest number will overwrite the higher one... for example ingi mount: patch-4 and bear patch-5.

Now ingi mount will work but bear won't. When you swap the numbers from the patches bear now 4 and ingi now 5 then the bear works but the ingi mount doesn't anymore.

€: I use Ram > Bear and Netherdrake > Ingi Mount
