i cant click END to close my program for some reason

The PTR version works, just follow the instructions in the .exe window. Basically before you type in your account info push END to disable the program, attempt to login, and AFTER the messages are finished for your login and BEFORE you switch to your character page/realm page push HOME to renable the exe. It's worked for me and several other people.

4. Enter
5. Press home before you see your character/realm list

Firstly, if I run the PTR patch as it previously worked, it obviously gives me the "version" error and will not log in.

After doing as the PTR instructions say, and pressing END to log in, it simply does not work with models, no matter when I press HOME to re enable it. Just runs regular models.

Ok...I got it to work with the ptr ME but please, don't be all kthxbai/lrn2read or whatever, it just gives people negative attitudes towards you, and you don't have to be like that; be helpful. Thanks to the others who helped clear it up

It will NOT close the actual window for the EXE, instead it disables it when you push END and renables it when you push HOME. You can see this when you look at the actual .exe window.

1) Run the .exe as you would normally
2) Type in your account info
3) Before you push return to start the login process, push the END key on your keyboard
4) Before the realm selection list OR character sheet comes up you push the HOME key on your keyboard

If you do it correctly, your model edits WILL indeed work. I've explained this to several people on my server, and it's corrected the wrong version problem. I'm sure there will be an update soon enough so just sit tight

Run the modeleditptr just like the modeleditlive.

When the login screen appears press the end button.

Enter name & password.

THEN You Must Time when you press enter - press home immediately.

If you time it right you will see your edits working again.

Make sure you're using the PTR client and NOT the live client, otherwise it will close the exe when you push END rather than just disabling it.
