ok.........so i put the patch file in the data folder in wow (wow/data), and i run the modeleditlive and cmd screen opens, wow opens, i log in and the enter world page shows........but the model is not changed, i enter world and still no change.......what am i doing wrong?
i was given the patch file from another user patch-5.mpq

Put it into your World of Warcraft\Data folder, the patch doesn't change EVERYTHING in the world o.o

And patch-5.mpq doesnt help us.

it is in the wow/data folder already mate, and that patch is to convert savagery > mongoose enchant.

It's working fine for me and others, I think you need to make sure your edit isn't corrupt because I'm using my fix right now and it's fine.

Ok I am doing something wrong. I put modeleditlive.exe in my data folder and ran it. A window came up and then closed but WoW didnt launch. So I just put it in my world of warcraft folder. The window came up, it didnt close but WoW launched.

I think I am putting it in the wrong folder or something

No, you actually got it right the second time, the window isn't supposed to close, incase you want to disable the fix, you navigate to the window at any time and hit the pause key and it will disable it, if you don't want this feature just close the window once WoW launches fully.

The fix goes in the World of Warcraft folder.

Umm there isn't a new PTR right now. I just went on it.
Downloading a new PTR right now, I'll have a fix up.
