Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types -> MPQ -> Delete

There, the extension is now unregistered.

....my computer hates me. I tried that and the edit fix still doesn't work. Hang on, i'll try your updated one and get back on it.
Edit one: Still nothing. next attempt, reseting the computer.
Edit 2: I don't know what happened but once I used the fix twice on it it showed that I had two mpq's.
Ex: patch-1.mpq.mpq
fix that and it works. +rep to youuuuu!

My Virus scanner says there's a trojan in it :confused: and when i open it.. it says there are 2 Virus in it :yuck:

Thats so not true dude. Stop making things up. There is no virus or trojan in these model edit fixes. Those are false positives because your virus scanner sucks. Ditch it.
