yeaj! that worked! download http://www.demonkunga.com/files/ModelEditFixPTR7272.exe
Cleared cache didnt work
And that MEF lanches wow at least but doesnt work on my .mpq's.....
Im not on vista btw-xp here
The one I posted worked for me on XP.
Whenever I try to run the Fix basically nothing happens. I see it appear for a split second then immediately closes. Never even opens WoW.
It's in the wow directory with the .exe, I tried with no custom patches, and with just one, have no hex changes, nothing. Won't work. What am I doing wrong.
Your patch could be corrupt. But you said you even tried it without a patch in there, so I'm not sure.
Sorry if i'm starting to sound like a begger with this question, but I think I may have it fixed.
Anyway: I tried to download the regular server MEF and it says the site can not be displayed with some error. Is that just AOL or is there a site problem?
Also: Does anyone know if patches set to open with the internet will work? I think the problem may have been blocking but I can't test it without MEF.
The Link Doesnt Work, It Wont Load At All, Why Use Such A Shit Ass Link?
I don't think it's shit ass....I just want it fixed. Or a DK-version.

Edit2: Tried to un-internet the patches, nothing. Anyone know how to turn a .MPQ from opening with internet to being unknowen like they should be?

Sorry, I accidentally compiled a 64-bit exe instead of a 32-bit one I think. Recompiled and tested. (Was on a different computer using someone else's compiler, it was 64-bit by default so I think that's what was ****ing things up) New and tested version uploaded.
Also, coming soon is a GUI version that will be able to run from any directory, patch already running WoW clients, or launch new ones with the patch. I also intend to add in a patch-independent model edit offset scanner so it will work on all upcoming patches without needing updates. We shall see, depends how much time I have.
