Thanks to Demon for helping me get the new offset for the PTR (I have the static pointer, but I didn't have the PTR installed, so I couldn't follow it to get the new offset)
much appreciated, keep up the good work!

Program updated, I accidentally left debug information enabled in the previous version, the new version is only 4KB, compared to the 20KB that the old version was. Not an important update, but an update nonetheless.

Are the links dead, or is it just me?

Re: Official Model Edit Fix Thread

One fix is for the PTR client, one fix is for the live client.

Links are not dead, I took them down for a total of about 10 seconds while I updated them to the latest version, you must've been really unlucky and tried to download it then, its fine now though.

Heh, for some reason Firefox wouldn't open the page, so I had to use IE.

It seems I still get that damn error from windows not being able to run the exe.

    Darn. =/

    1. Are you on Vista? I'm working on a fix for Vista, it should be out very soon, because Microsoft added in extra protection against modifying memory.
    2. Please post the error you're getting

Because your AV system is made of fail. It's not a trojan.

Also, I don't know why your models aren't working, I'm not a model editor, questions like that are better directed to people who specialize in model editing, I'm a hacker/programmer by nature, I'm just writing the program, I don't actually model edit much myself.

Re: Official Model Edit Fix Thread

Okay, I've written a temporary fix for Vista. Can a Vista user please test this. I'm going to bed now, if it works I'll integrate the code into the main fix and do one for both live and the ptr, this fix only works on live because it's just a beta.

Re: Official Model Edit Fix Thread

It seems that Avast or IconPackager was causing the ME to give this error:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file."

I removed both of them and now it's working like a charm. AVG seems to work with this version also.

I'm running XP, not Vista. Sorry I can't help you with that one.
