So will this be updated so hair colors works? or has it already been done?
It hasn't been released yet, but Soluhe posted a fixed model, and put it into a patch which you can download here
Ok, so i finally used this aaaand, right now (patch 4.2) it works at 50% xD why i say 50%? well, the "patch" applies the alpha model textures, but still uses the "live" model, so what i get is the "famous-bugged female worgen"
Its something wrong im doing to get this? or it happens to someone else? (im sorry, im quite bad/n00b with all of this ^^")
EDIT:
ok, it works now!
just had to rename the "patch" to the most actual revision (right now 14480), and it works fine on me, thanks for the work you have done with this Soluhe ^^
EDIT 2:
ok, a few days passed since i use this "patch" and i found a few issues.
On characters it works "fine", but:
- Helms looks weird, they look bigger and misplaced (thats a model problem, not a "patch" problem, developers never worked/finished this on Alpha model).
- If a character is wearing a cape "visible", then, the back becomes invisible (and the cape too) :S.
- The textures doesnt fit well on NPCs (i dont know why this happens).
- Sometimes the middle part of the legs "dessapears" (it isnt caused by the pants/dress, just happens sometimes).
But at least, it works fine and i dont see that silly-horrible-mad chihuahuas (hair colors works! ^^)

Could you throw a step by step, i keep trying to put this in, i use an mpq editor to no avail. Its not changing anything at all maybe im missing a huge step? I have replaced the contents of the worgen female file w/ your files and also tryed updating the most recent patch to also contain a character patch, neither works
I really like this model swapping, and have only one question - will this patch be updated somewhen, and is it possible to add to this model animations like Running Wild's one or dance? And last problem is that big and floating helmets and shoulders - can this be fixed by editing model's meshes or smthn? Or it's uneditable part?
Thanks for answering...
The download link currently doesn't work. Any chance of a fresh version going up?
i took the liberty to reupload this, also updating the filestructure to be able to work with current patch as of today (13/08/21), hope the author wont hate me for not asking

Help a modelswap noob out. How would I go about getting this to play nice with WoD?
