Draenei to High Elf 4.0.6

I'm sorry I haven't helped you high elf fans out. Cataclysm editing is tricky and I have had many balls in the air this year.

Anyway. Here is my updated draenei to high elf patch. It works exactly the same as the 3.3.5 version did exept that the face pictures of the races in the character creation screen are just like normal. I still haven't figured out how to make custom blps after 4.0. I also combined it with the patch that used to change the elekks to horses. So you only need to download one patch.

Oh yeah. The draenei npc textures are still the same so they will look very ridiculus. Just stay out the starting area and exodar and you will hardly ever notice them.

- Fixed so hair wouln't show through the helmet. Instead the ears will now always show through the helmet.

lol I only posted that guide since i know a lot of people make race swaps or race reskins so it helps to make the reskins look pro with a rename. Working on changing the Prologue on the side. But after all, this is a nice edit. What you can do is take the m2 and skin/anim files and replace them with the ones for Draenei. You can do Hex coding to redirect the blp files that are read to the Draenei character creations screen. Though it's complex. The first part is do able.

First off thanks for the edit. I've run into a small problem.


I removed the edit and it wasn't there.
I re-added the edit and it returned.

Any idea what is causing this?

high elves have blue eyez .. but .. but draenei females have tails .. and hoofs .. and horns .. and they can show u the sexodar ..oh .. :P .. thx 4 the edit

I have no idea why my patch would cause this. It should not do that since the files only have something to do with the draenei and not the enviroment.

I will take a thorough look at it anyway and report back if I find anything.
