Cant get http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...odel-edit.html patcher to work. ****ing avast is detecting it as a trojan, tried to ignore the threat but it doesnt allow me to transfer it to my WoW directory map.. Quite odd.

This is the wrong thread for this problem. Go read other posts on that thread and find out yourself. I'd give you 1 small hint: Right click logo > click 'Stop on-access protection'



There never was a ScM -> ScF edit, only vice versa. Classiclean must have misread this.
Edit: But now there are both ScM -> ScF

Yes I'm sure. I just tested it again. The skin is weird but no change of model occurs.

I can't test it out but the edit has been done well.
I remade the edit, test it out i'd say: Gnome Female -> Scourge Female

tested again, same thing. changes the skin to undead looking but the model remains the same.

Can you tell what i did wrong the whole time? I've done good edits and bad edits.. probably because i work fast and am tired. But later i told some guy that i rechecked an edit and that it seemed legit, still the edit failed.
ScM -> ScF. I renamed all the ScF .blp files to ScM and i renamed the ScourgeMale.mdx to ScourgeFemale.mdx. Packed all up and it failed..

Everything you done was correct, I guess you just forgot to hit enter (that happened to me too when I was fast) and so the rename didn't made it through :P

i don't think you did anything wrong, it was completely my fault.
didn't realize i had another edit going and they must have conflicted. realized there was another edit going (night elf female > scourge male), deleted that and it works perfectly now.
