[Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

I've never experienced any crashing when using these (and I have been for a while now.)

I just wanted to say thanks for your great and inspirational work, Andridge.

I had the wonderful PLEASURE to download and use your awesome re-skins, Andridge, but unfortunately (and inexplicably) my game crashed! I had to reinstall.

I had made sure of all the things that you had indicated (shorten to "patch-9.MPQ" making sure to capitalize properly)

I reinstalled and unfortunately was a little gun shy to use your skins again, but they are so beautiful I just cant help myself. So now I have them back in my data folder, and I was wondering this:

Does the game just randomly crash for reasons unfounded when these files are placed in the Data folder? I did as I was instructed.

Well, no, the only times it may crash is when you update the game (where the patch-files may merge and corrupt the common.mpq for example), or you were using the Worgen which is in the "Special Modeledits" folder which needs ModelEditFix.exe, again this is clearly written in the "README!!! OH GOD, READ FOR THE SAKE OF BABY JESUS! REEEAD!!" kind of document in there.

Otherwise... no, there should be no reason for a massive crash.

I've got the litle problem that the ghostwolf isn't working and when I use the Worgen patch-8.mpq with my wowme.exe thegame won't start.
It starts and exits immideatly ...
Copied the file, renamed it properly to patch-8.MPQ and finally I edited the config-file for WoWME.exe.
If I start WoW normally without the exe but with mpq then it gives an error with corrupted mpq-files out ...

I think you should contact them not me, and ask for the reason.
If it was these skins that gave you that temporary ban or some behaviour you did (I have a hard time to see how they could ban you for this since it's barely detectable, unless someone who might have overheard you mentioning getting new forms reported you).
I don't think a question to why you get the ban will get you in any more trouble so.
Oh and you're the first to report a ban, so if you have some screens (ofc identity should be concealed) of mail/conversation I'd be happy to see them.

Like Andrige said: It's very unlikely that you have been banned just for using these skins.
So that leads me to think that you might:
*Used hacks: make ores more visible, made doors in instances for easier passage, ...
*Put the patches in the wrong folder or haven't used the correct name, which crashed your game. And you have send the report to Blizzard(most of the time the error message say something about corrupt gamefiles, etc...)
*Told about this in your guild/trade and someone reported you
*...

Don't shoot me here, mate. I'm just making assumptions, but due to the fact that no one has ever been banned before for using just these model edits I think you have done something of the abovementioned things...

A quick question if I may about worgen form? I understand what you said about the perception of the hit box for worgen - suffice to say that the when using the worgen form tauren druids are not affected by the range bug anymore? That is to say, if it's in melee range for caster form then it is also in range for worgen form?

Now, I know you've said you don't take requests, etc, but could you at least point me in the right direction? I'd love to use your reskinned Tauren Moonkin and use it on the NPC "Lunaclaw" so that when I activate Moonkin form it changes to the Lunaclaw model. I'm not asking YOU to do it, i'm asking if YOU or ANYONE ELSE can teach me or give me some pointers on HOW to do it.

I know this will probably involve using the Lunaclaw model, reskinning it and then assigning it to the moonkin form spell, the only thing i'm lacking is the know how that I would hope you can share.

This took me like 2 minutes since I already had that model which you speak of saved in a folder since well, thought it had some cool animations compared to the usual one, I'm not all too sure if it has the flavour emotes tho but /care.
